About Me
Glen Havenga M.A., C.Psych., Registered Psychologist London Ontario
I am a psychologist in London Ontario registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) . My registration includes areas of declared competency in providing therapeutic and psychoeducational assessment services to children, adolescents and adults. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2008. I have been providing psychological, assessment and counselling services for more than18 years in various settings including private practice, mental health hospitals and community clinics.
Psychotherapy
(Adults and Adolescents)
Throughout my career I have supported therapy clients with difficulties including anxiety, depression, anger, personal or workplace stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties and conflict (including marriage/relationship difficulties) and many more mental health issues.
Psychoeducational Assessment
(Children and Adolescents)
I am currently employed by the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) in London Ontario where I conduct assessments for learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and executive functioning issues, giftedness and behavior and emotional concerns. I have also provided similar consultative educational assessments to students in the Avon-Maitland District School Board, the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board, and with children and adolescents in a private practice. Working directly with various school boards, my reports address and meet the requirements school boards have for developing individual education plans (IEP) including making accommodations and/or modifications and providing supports and tools if required.
